Basic Settings
- Go to blogger.com and click Settings to open the basic settings tab.
- Edit the Title to change your blog's name that'll be displayed on your blog header. You can also had description too.
- Privacy – Ensure your blog is listed on Blogger and it's visible to Search Engine.

Posts, Comment and Sharing
- Show at most – Edit here to choose the number of posts that will be displayed on your homepage. Too much posts is not advisable. 10 posts on homepage is normal.
- Comments – Select the comment location and choose who can comment on your blog. You can allow comment moderation if you don't want comments to be published without your approval. You can also edit the Comment Message also known as Comment Policy that will be displayed to your blog visitors.
Search Preference
- Description – write in short statement your blog description that'll be visible to search engines and social medias. You can also add description meta tags in your template's HTML code.
- Custom Redirect – Redirect your blog visitors from a post to another if the post's link is broken or you just want to point to other post on your blog.
- Google Search Console – We can't explain everything about Search Console in this tutorial but in brief, Google Search Console is a very useful tool for bloggers that allows you to get your blog crawled and indexed quickly by Google Search Engine. - Custom robots.txt and robots header tag – use the custom robot.txt file to tell search engine how to crawl your blog. You can use it to tell search engines not to index some pages on your blog usually the blog label pages and demo pages or any other pages on your blog that you don't want to get indexed in search results. Add more options with Custom robots header tags. Click the Edit links, and tick Yes to change these settings. Copy and paste the text given below into the Custom Robots.txt text box (change the link in the text from www.kefblog.tech to your blog url) and set the options in the Custom Header tag as shown in the screenshot below. Ensure to click Save Changes in both settings to apply the changes you made.

- Custom ads.txt – some ads publishing services requires you to edit this file to start displaying ads on your blog. This checks the the authenticity of ads that are displayed on your blog. All you have to do is click the edit link, tick yes to enable the option and paste the given text into the text box.
Other Settings
- Import and Back-up – You can import or backup your blog content. This includes all your published and drafted posts, pages and comments.
- Remove Your Blog – You know what that means.
- Allow Blog Feed – If you set allow blog feed to until jump break, your article will not be displayed in full on the homepage. And also, when your latest post is being delivered to your mailing list, a Read more text linking to your full article will be inserted where you apply the jump break when publishing your article.
- Google Analytics Property ID – it's a unique ID that'll be used to track your blog pages. Google Analytics is an important tool for bloggers which can be used to know how your blog is performing with detailed report that you can probably not find anywhere else.
